Traditional Training Services

These services are characterized by supporting your standard instructor led classroom instruction or on-the-job training (OJT) programs.  The output generally involves working with your subject matter experts to develop Instructor Guides,  Student Manuals,  Presentation Materials (slides/exercises etc.).  Work may also include creation of demonstrations and practice sessions, as well as quizzes or exams to validate learning occurred.   There also is usually a course evaluation that helps your business determine the reaction to the course by participants that is centered around the facility, the materials, the instructor and the content of the course.

Generally, Traditional Training Services involves a subject matter expert from your business who will serve as an instructor.  In addition, the need to schedule participants away from the job to attend a scheduled course at a designated location is typically required.  There may be more than one course required for participants to attend.  Class size is generally limited to about 8-10 participants per class.

In the case of OJT, generally there is a need to train the instructor leading the OJT on his/her role,  and the training occurs during the course of the regular work environment with the lead demonstrating the various ways to perform functions on the job and providing opportunities for the learner to practice under supervision.
